Hi, I’m Nehama!

I specialize in anxiety management and helping increase confidence, focus and calm.

If you are wondering what a therapy session feels like- I want to assure you, it will be comfortable and chilled.

It will likely feel like talking to a good, trusted friend but in a more goal directed and intentional kind of way.

You’ll feel appreciated for who you are- genuinely respected and cared for.

I love people, so I already know I’ll want to connect and get to know you. My role is not to make you be a certain way, but to help you be the best version of you!

I will listen without judgment, offer down-to-earth problem solving and support, and help you navigate life’s challenges in a way that is true to your personality and values. I treat you with the authentic caring and attention that I would want for myself.

Life can be really overwhelming… Its actually really normal to need help now and then.

If you grew up in a family that meant well, but didn’t make you feel seen and heard, or didn't model good emotional regulation, of course intense emotions will be hard to process. you never learned how!

Anxiety tendencies, trauma, attachment wounds, or complicated life challenges can also push you to your limit….

We all have the ability to gain insight and skills that lead to growth and change! I will never give up on you (even on your most dysregulated- OMG I can’t cope kind of day)!

I like to combine active listening and empathy with insights, information and skill building resources that you can take with you for years to come. I draw heavily upon CBT, a therapy approach full of strategies and techniques for understanding our thinking style and behavior patterns and tweaking them for healthier outcomes. CBT is a gold standard therapy approach for anxiety disorders and can be applied to future situations long after therapy ends. I

believe you’ll feel really empowered by the work we do!

As part of the Clifton Psychotherapy and Neurofeedback Associate team I have the benefit of a well-seasoned supervisor to collaborate with- ensuring that you receive comprehensive, research supported help. We can also add in neurofeedback with our biofeedback staff if you ever want to add that in for extra nervous system and brainwave calming.

I offer virtual sessions at this time- including Sunday, early morning and late day slots. Sit back on your favorite recliner with a tea, coffee or hot cocoa and lets get started!
